Booking Terms for Travel Services
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking travel services through Nomads Wanderer, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
Definitions
- "Company," "we," "us," "our" refers to Nomads Wanderer
- "Customer," "you," "your" refers to the person booking travel services
- "Services" include tour packages, accommodations, transportation, and related travel services
2. Booking and Payment Terms
Booking Process
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only after receipt of required payment and documentation
- Verbal quotations are estimates; final pricing may vary
- Special requests are noted but not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed
Payment Terms
- Domestic Tours: 50% advance at booking, balance 15 days before departure
- International Tours: 25% at booking, 50% within 30 days, balance 21 days before departure
- Last-minute bookings: Full payment required at time of booking
- Payment Methods: Credit/Debit cards, UPI, Bank transfer, Cash (at office)
- All prices are in Indian Rupees unless otherwise specified
3. Travel Documents
Customers are responsible for ensuring valid travel documents:
- Domestic Travel: Valid government-issued photo ID
- International Travel: Valid passport with minimum 6 months validity
- Visa Requirements: Customer's responsibility; we provide assistance but not guarantee
- Special Permits: Required for certain destinations (Ladakh, Sikkim, etc.)
- Health Certificates: COVID-19 vaccination or test certificates as required
4. Tour Inclusions and Exclusions
Typical Inclusions
- Accommodation as specified in the itinerary
- Meals as mentioned in the package
- Transportation as per itinerary
- Sightseeing and activities as listed
- Professional tour guide (where applicable)
Typical Exclusions
- Personal expenses (laundry, telephone, beverages)
- Tips and gratuities
- Travel insurance
- Airport taxes and departure fees
- Activities not mentioned in the itinerary
- Visa fees and processing charges
5. Health and Safety
- Medical Fitness: Customers must be medically fit for chosen activities
- Health Declaration: Disclosure of medical conditions affecting travel
- Travel Insurance: Strongly recommended for all travel
- Adventure Activities: Participation at customer's own risk
- COVID-19 Compliance: Following applicable health protocols
6. Changes and Modifications
By the Company
- We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, political situations, or operational reasons
- Alternative arrangements of similar standard will be provided
- No compensation for minor changes; refunds for major changes
By the Customer
- Changes subject to availability and additional costs
- Name changes: ₹2,000 for domestic, ₹5,000 for international (plus airline fees)
- Date changes: Subject to cancellation policy and new booking rates
7. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to provide services due to:
- Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, cyclones)
- Political unrest, terrorism, or war
- Government regulations or travel advisories
- Airline strikes or transportation failures
- Pandemic or health emergencies
- Acts of God beyond our reasonable control
8. Liability and Insurance
- Limited Liability: Our liability is limited to the cost of services booked
- Third-Party Services: We act as intermediary; suppliers' terms apply
- Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items
- Travel Insurance: Customers advised to obtain comprehensive coverage
- Adventure Activities: Participation entirely at customer's risk
9. Complaints and Grievances
- Immediate Issues: Report to tour leader or local representative
- Formal Complaints: Submit in writing within 14 days of return
- Resolution Process: We aim to resolve complaints within 30 days
- Escalation: Unresolved issues may be taken to consumer forums
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India. Customer protection laws of India shall apply where applicable.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By booking with us, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
